Parker Racquet Club is the best place to play tennis, padel, and pickleball on the Front Range, whether you're a member or not. — Rodrigo
Parker Racquet Club holds a special place in Colorado padel history as the state's first facility to embrace the sport. Located at 18396 Plaza Dr in Parker, this community-focused club has been instrumental in introducing padel to the Denver metro area since opening its four outdoor courts in October 2023.
About Parker Racquet Club
Founded in March 2019 by co-owners Barry Riddle, Steve Prosowski, and Craig Marshall, Parker Racquet Club began as a premier tennis facility with six indoor courts and a 2,000 square-foot welcome center. Barry Riddle, a former University of Northern Colorado tennis player, discovered padel through a Spanish friend and became convinced it would thrive in Colorado. The club pivoted from planned platform tennis courts to become a padel pioneer instead.
Courts & Facilities
The club features 4 outdoor padel courts that operate year-round when temperatures reach the mid-40s or above. While the outdoor courts are weather-dependent, they offer excellent playing conditions throughout much of the year. The facility also includes 6 indoor tennis courts with high ceilings, great lighting, and proper court spacing, plus outdoor pickleball courts.
Amazing tennis (and more) facility any town would be lucky to have. Indoor courts have great lighting, high ceilings, great viewing area, proper court spacing, and clean. — Spencer Marchant
Programs & Instruction
Head Padel Pro Robert Gurolnick leads the club's padel programming, which includes:
- Free bi-weekly introductory clinics for beginners
- "Shuttle" tournaments rotating players across all four courts
- Private and group lessons for all skill levels
- Planned tournaments and trips to other clubs
Playing Padel at this facility is fantastic. The Padel Pro, Robert, is a very good instructor for all levels. — Michael Wright
