Louisiana's first publicly accessible padel courts debuted when NFL legend Drew Brees and business partner Darren Balsamo opened Pickle N Pins in Metairie in October 2024, making the Pelican State the 26th in the nation to welcome this fast-growing sport.

Pickle N Pins is not your typical padel club. Housed in the former Surge Adventure Park near Louis Armstrong International Airport, this 50,000+ square foot entertainment complex offers padel alongside an eclectic mix of activities including pickleball, duck pin bowling, axe throwing, darts, and a massive arcade. It's a place where you can play padel doubles, then grab tacos and drinks at the central bar.
The Courts
The facility features 2 indoor padel courts alongside 6 pickleball courts. The weatherproof indoor setting means you can play any time regardless of New Orleans' unpredictable weather. High-quality rental rackets and balls are available if you don't have your own equipment.
Programs & Play
Pickle N Pins welcomes players of all skill levels. Open play sessions provide opportunities to meet other players and enjoy social matches. Private court rentals are available for corporate events, team building, and birthday parties. Lessons and coaching clinics are offered, with competitive leagues and tournaments in development.
