One of the most prestigious private clubs in the American South, Piedmont Driving Club made history in 2024 by becoming the first private club in Atlanta to offer padel. Founded in 1887 as the Gentlemen's Driving Club, this storied institution continues its tradition of bringing the finest amenities to its distinguished membership.

Since its founding in 1887, Piedmont Driving Club has been synonymous with Atlanta's elite. The club originally provided grounds for members to "drive" their horse and carriages before later establishing a golf course—land that was sold to the city in 1904 to create the iconic Piedmont Park that borders the club today.
