The first padel courts on Key Biscayne opened in January 2020, and they came with a pedigree: Cliff Drysdale Tennis at The Ritz-Carlton. This beachfront facility combines world-class tennis with cutting-edge padel courts, creating the largest and most complete tennis and padel venue of any Ritz-Carlton resort worldwide.
The Courts
Cliff Drysdale Tennis features 3 outdoor padel courts built by All Racquet Sports, the country's principal expert on padel construction. The courts showcase impressive technology including aluminum exclusive profiles, laser cut anchor plates, LED lighting for evening play, and AFP Turf Monofibre surfaces. When they opened, these were the first courts of their kind in the United States.
The facility also includes multiple tennis courts with the signature mesh fencing and designer pillars that give the venue a distinctive aesthetic in this tropical paradise.
Programs & Coaching
The coaching staff receives consistent praise from players. Padel camps run across eight hours of focused instruction and live play, with coaches guiding advanced beginner to low intermediate players (2.0–3.4) through targeted drills and strategies. Tennis programming includes adult and junior lessons with busy schedules throughout the week.
