The Ocean Club in Key Biscayne embraced padel in January 2024, converting one of their eight Har-Tru tennis courts into three outdoor padel courts. The result has been transformative for this exclusive residential community on the island.

The Courts

The facility features 3 outdoor padel courts that have quickly become the most sought-after amenity in this 52-acre oceanfront community. The courts converted from a portion of the existing clay tennis center, and the remaining seven tennis courts still serve the community's tennis players.

World-Class Instruction

The Ocean Club's padel program is led by Egle Petrauskaite, a former #1 ranked player in the United States (as recently as 2024). With her background as a tennis program director at the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne for six years, she brings exceptional expertise to the club's padel programming.

Programs & Community

The club has embraced padel enthusiastically, hosting men's, women's, and junior tournaments—including the first junior padel tournament at Ocean Club Key Biscayne. The sport has resonated with residents who describe it as "more social, easier on the body, and just fun."

The Facility

The Ocean Club is a luxury residential community featuring 11 towers with 802 apartments, 125 private cabanas, restaurants, a health center, and spa. The tennis center offers 8 total courts (7 tennis, 3 padel) with a pro shop and full-service amenities.

Access & Booking

The Ocean Club is a private residential community. Court access is available to residents and members through OCCA Racquet Sports. The tennis center operates daily from 8 AM to 8 PM.
